Black Snowman

The last couple of years we have had just a bit of snow and maybe some Christmas Day. We have been in a drought for several years now. Now we are getting snow nearly every day but it does stick and is just wet. Someone scraped up enough snow to make a blackened, weird looking snow man outside here. Bent carrot for a nose and just some indentations for eyes.
Anyone else finding enough snow for a snow man?

Haaa, if we get snow anytime soon it'll put all the long time residents of el paso into shock, we haven't a clue how to drive in it or for that matter walk, experience from many years ago taught me that there could easily be slippery ice under that snow.

I have no desire for this region to get snow let alone ice of any kind @celticeagle I'm happy with tumbleweeds.

My BFF lived in Mesquite. She saw a lot of ice, but no snowmen that I recall.

I could only wish. I still have green lawns front and back. I'm looking forward to our first real snowfall. So far we've only had a light dusting. My son did salt the stairs the day after the Packers game because the stairs were slick. It didn't last though, as soon as the sun was up even that was melted away.

@just4him ...We've had several years where it started snowing Christmas morning and was only the second time of the season.

@celticeagle I would like a white Christmas, so I hope we get some soon and it doesn't all melt away before Christmas - it's done that too.

That would sure be nice. We had one of the worst forest fires in the country this last summer. I hope that doesn't happen again.

Unfortunately from where I live, snow is at least 1000 kilometers away. And due to my ailments, I might never get to even see the real snow. Ever since I remember, reading about snowman, I always had a dream someday I could get one made by me.

Yes, I watched it too. Closed we will get to a real snow fall I think. All we get is a dusting every few days.
