This is it! I've made it! With this post, I've reached my monthly target of 20 discussions!
I only have one more month of December to reach another 20 discussions completing my overall goal of 100 discussions by the end of the year that I set when I first returned to the site back on the first week of August!
I actually set another goal for the end of the year but it doesn't look like I'll be able to reach it. I was targeting to have my activity rating hitting 10000 by end of 2015. When I set that few months back, I calculated that I must have about 8500 by now. As can be seen, I'm far from that number. Oh well!

I just came back to myLot mid of this month. I haven't been keeping track of anything. I just enjoy dropping by here and there to read discussions and respond. You have it all planned out on your goal. Congrats!

@infatuatedbby No worries. I'll see what I can do about that...

I returned in the beginning of August and by end of August I noticed my activity rating was around 4000 (combination of what was forwarded from old myLot plus August's activities). I understood then that it increased a lot faster than the old myLot and I challenged myself to do 1500 a month from September to December making it 10000 by year's end. I figured that would only require around 50 activities per day and I even divided them into my morning and night sessions with seemingly attainable 25 activities each. But nooo... I couldn't even do that and I blame it on my bad habit of reading too much while I'm on here...

You did it!
It pays to set those goals and actually reach them. I didn't make any goals - ha ha, you know me - but I'm pretty content being back here knowing our online family is here and we have a trusted place to call home again. Now about NEXT year's goals . . .

I have no clue how many I post but occasionally look at my activity chart and see I am doing more than I expected to. Creating posts is not difficult for me but getting responses is

@sishy7 I do not go overboard with posting. My issue is the time zone. I have seen users with many posts getting good responses. One must accept this scenario and move on.
Just for interest sake, how do you track my posts?

Each of my discussion got their share of responses. Maybe there's an advantage of not posting too many discussions. Those who are checking us out will only have limited discussions to choose from and they will have a higher chance to be responded...

And why were you trying to reach this goal?
On Bubbs I averaged about one post every week, roughly. My average here is just over one post each month.
I'm guessing you are trying to earn a certain amount each day? week? or month? above and beyond the $10 payout?
Sorry, hon, I just don't understand this.

And I thought you'd know me by now...
No, it's never about earning for me. Trust me, I would have quit a long time ago out of major frustration if I base my activities with what I earn on here.
And there's no spectacular reason either why I'm doing this. It's probably because of my obsession for things to be systematic. I like to have a guideline for what I'm doing. Others will probably see it as unnecessary, I'm sure, but somehow I always find myself coming up with guidelines to follow or targets to reach in just about anything. I don't know, maybe I feel 'lost' without that or something.

I am making a list (again) of my posts in this site, and the one I made for that bubbling site is now safe and secured on desktop. Hahhhaa! I am not making goals just yet.

Good for you! Just a little information for you, the term used for this site is 'Discussions'. I'm sure those are what you're referring to when you said you are making a list. 'Posts' on here are everything that we post - they include discussions, responses, and comments. As of now you have 693 'posts'.

@ridingbet Not like it's violating any rules if you call them 'articles'... Just that myLot is distinct from other similar sites in which it is supposed to be a discussion forum where members post 'discussions'.

@sishy7 I still have not yet gotten enough of that bubbling site, that I put posts instead of discussions. is "articles" allowed?

Congrats on reaching your one goal! I usually post about 3-4 discussions per day so I think I will be able to reach 100 discussions by the New Year too. =)

Sometime we hits our goals and sometimes we done. Be proud of the ones you hit and don't worry around the other ones. Have a great day.

@sishy7 I set goals for myself all the time that is why i feel that way. I have been doing it for years and when I don't make the goals it's just means I didn't set the right goal.
