The Elimination Diet: Remove anger, regret, resentment, guilt, blame and worry. Then watch your health and life improve. - Charles Glassman.
I have been following the path of positive thinking and rule out negative, unwanted emotions from my life and I have seen my life improve from ordinary to awesome.
I would also add jealousy and comparisons of self with others to the list to make life nearly perfect.
I have often heard people tell me its impossible to think positive all the time.. It impossible only for those who think so.. its just a matter of habit and right thinking. Negative thoughts and emotions destroy our happiness and self confidence making life miserable.
Have you ever tried this diet? How effective has this been for you?

I am positive that I could not positively do this sort of diet. Is that positive enough for you?

@purplealabaster Absolutely not.. That is purely negative.

not very, I like to be prepared, being positive to me doesn't allow me room to have battle plans, and back up plans and other things that keep me sane

@Jessicalynnt Being positive doesn't mean you are not in sync with reality and you have no plans to handle eventualities. It just means that you cut out negative thoughts that tell you, you can't, its impossible and stuff like that.. you just replace them with why not and plan for those.

@sofssu AH, I gotcha, more like getting a handle on negative self talk, not so much negative perceptions of things that might happen?

@Jessicalynnt It is both, Being negative is foreseeing only doom and gloom. Being positive is to be practical see how you can handle stuff that goes wrong and move on. It is the ability to accept the negative with the positive as a way of life, not overly focused on the negative alone.

@sueznewz2 It has taken time, years I should say, but it surely works.. It is just another habit.. a thinking habit to be precise.

@sofssu that's right..... it took me a while... but the biggest thing was monitoring my thoughts .... realising that I was thinking negative thoughts and then...making the decision to think something else....

I have never knowingly tried the diet but I think I automatically try to follow it as part of my regular life.

@BelleStarr That is wonderful. When something become a habit we are on autopilot. That is the best way of life.

@Marilynda1225 When you see your glass half full you tend to enjoy life more and see the possibilities life has to offer. Don't you think so?

Let's try to forget those negative emotions and just fill ourselves with all positive emotions .. To have a happy life is really simple- just fill our hearts with lots of love, kindness, joy happiness and peace :)

I do strive to stay positive. One of the things that gets me down is financial problems. Right now things are good but I do not know what the New Year will bring.
