A piece of the Berlin Wall

I was never around in Germany to see the Berlin Wall for myself - standing solid and cold but I have visited Germany recently and I absolutely loved it, loved the food, the people and the beautiful countryside and cities.
On my travels a week ago to our Mother City, as Cape Town is called, I accidentally came upon a piece of the Berlin Wall in St George's square (or as it is called today - Mall)
Well I was dumbfounded and on my return to the Hotel, I told the girls about it and was almost called a liar.
Well together after breakfast we meandered again to the Parliament Gardens and St George's Square where they got to lay their own eyes on the piece of Berlin Wall.
According to research:
"A New Treasure for St George’s Mall – a piece of the Berlin Wall"
St George’s Mall has landed itself a new treasure in the form of a big chunk of the famous Berlin Wall which was given to former president Nelson Mandela in the 1990s."
When we uploaded it on our FB so many of our friends in CT didnt even know of its existence. Its great to be a tourist in your own country.
Do you know if there are any other pieces of the Berlin Wall anywhere else in the world?

No chance that any Indian owns it leave alone the country. But I don't understand why anybody would want to own that either. I mean, many were killed while trying to cross from east to west, right? That wall is a sad thing then. Why would anybody want a piece of that misfortune?

I didn't know that there were big pieces like that in other countries. A friend of mine was in Berlin when the wall came down and when she returned home she brought me a small chunk of the wall. I've still got it lying around somewhere, but I'm not sure where.

I wonder, can you feel the years of pain it stood through?

I didn't know it existed any longer with it coming down like it did.

I've got a fist sized lump with a bit of graffiti on it.
My ex got it for me.
