It's a Little Cooler Today

It is a touch cooler today here. It will be in the high 70's instead of the 80's. I know, it's still up there but at least it's below 80's degrees. I will take what I can get. Because the temperature dropped a little I decided to go ahead and make homemade chicken vegetable soup. I have been wanting some for a while now and am not willing to wait another day. On the picture to the left, you can see some of the ingredients I will be using. It is going to be MMM....MMM....good. What are you doing for dinner tonight

We are still in the 80s. I had soup for lunch. I haven't thought about later though. LOL

@HazySue Well at this point, supper time, I can actually tell you we are doing a skillet meal.

Mmm that sounds good. I have no idea what we are going to do about dinner. I am not feeling very good today so I don't feel up to cooking.

@HazySue They do! I love homemade but I can never get them with a lot of flavour usually very bland tasting.

@ricki_911 you have to season them, it takes a while and a lot of experimenting to get the seasoning correct.

Sounds as if you are going to have a great meal! It looks yummy. Here in NC last week we were able to wear flip flops to the Christmas dinner. This week the weather is finally growing colder. We have several days that it will be in the low 30's. I hope hubby is in the mood to make his chili!

Tonight's supper was ravioli and hamburger with black beans and mushrooms and onions and tomato sauce. Cucumber slices on the side. Chocolate ice cream to finish.
