While Being Good to Me

While being good to me I am also going to try to go to bed at a reasonable time. I have been staying up way too late trying to earn on various sites. I have surpassed my usual goals for today on the one site and I think I have done well here as well. The holidays are all over, it is time to be back on a schedule and a routine. I did not nap today, but I do not feel sleepy just yet. I may get a book out to read a while and drink this cup of ginger tea. Be good to yourself. Take care of yourself. I will plan to see you tomorrow.

Oh, me too!! I have certain things in mind but somehow they do not get done. First thing to day trash out and to the curb.

@GardenGerty I gotta kick in in gear.I dedcided today is get all the laundry at least washed, and the kitchen picked up and cleaned. Not sure what tomorrow will be yet. but I plan to get all of the main areas done the next three days.

I've been up later than usual too. I need to get back to a decent schedule, but we'll see what happens since I'll be taking my son to work and picking him up from now on, as I'm going to need the car several days this week.

I do have a habit of drifting towards being nocturnal myself, although I should make the effort to go to bed earlier, especially since I will have to be up at 6 AM on Tuesday.

Those early wake ups tend to mess up nocturnal people. Probably would mess up nocturnal animals as well, now that I think of it.

My sleep time has been ruined months ago. I don't know when and how it started, I do not sleep on night time cos I don't feel sleepy at all, I sleep in the morning when people are getting ready to start the day. I wwant to change this habit so much.

@GardenGerty I have a fitbit and that encourages me to go to bed earlier as it reports on how well I slept.

I am totally out of a schedule the past few days. I worked long hours at work up until last week, and now I am enjoying 5 days off. When I go back to work on Tuesday that will be the end of my no schedule, so I'm enjoying it as long as I can.

If your job is shorthanded it makes it hard to say no to extra work. Over the holidays it seems it is all or nothing.

It's easy to lose too much sleep when you work online to make money. I know that I have to be very careful not to let my sleep schedule shift. Of course the new job is forcing me to be more disciplined - that might not be bad!

We started to do this too, but Jim has been having a terrible time trying to STAY asleep...and ends up exhausted. I think we'll need to go to the VA and speak to his doctor about getting him a sleep study (I think he has sleep apnea). We had a minor leak in the basement last weekend with the heavy rain, and several of our boxes got wet. We went through 2 immediately, but not the others. I went through a box with Jim yesterday, and unfortunately, lost quite a few things because they became moldy, and had to be tossed. And since I'm highly allergic to mold of any kind, I ended up napping all afternoon, and ruined my plans for us to get the kitchen floor mopped. I've been trying to tackle tasks one by one, but with my left shoulder still giving me problems, it's a bit hard. Instead, I'm trying to focus a lot on my health, as well as Jim's-something we neglected too long. Have to call another doctor to schedule an appointment-will probably do that this afternoon, after we get home from therapy (for me). I'm out of practice taking care of myself, but I had made that decision back in the fall that I'd start doing that this year.

I have to go to work in a few minutes.Next week I asked for more time off so that I could be good to myself. I only work twice next week. I"ll have to work a little hard to supplement some online but the rest of the time will be dedicated to me. Tea sounds nice right about now. I have some detox tea from the Pukka company I may drink before heading out the door. Enjoy your rest.
