Why do I always see the same names?

Is it just me but I always see the same names. I try to find new people to interact with and read stuff but it seems that no matter what I do I continue to see the majority of the same names pop up. The users who's names pop up are users who post and interact frequently almost on a daily basis for most. How do you find new users not new to the site but just different people? I have gotten a little lucky while surfing the users I interact with regularly I happen to find a few names in the comment section that I didn't know or see before and I kind of go from there with hopes to find more. It just seems like there are very few users which kind of makes me a bit bummed.

It seems a lot quieter on here than when I first joined in September. I do the same as you by looking for people in the comment section of other people's posts.

Really? Are there new people coming in? What could be their reasons? So many questions...

@Mike197602 Speaking of running into the same people all the time, I am not stalking you ... well, at least I am not stalking you tonight.

@lokisdad try, if possible, changing the times you come on here. or just build up your following list then you'll get to know more people.

I go to the different sections like the new users, etc. and just go from there. I sometimes will see a new user respond to one of my discussions and that is good.

I do see most of the same people every day as well. It doesn't bother me too much because there are plenty of discussions to choose from.

It seems I'm most often visited by the same people. That who I then visit, in return. I try to expand my horizons, but it's same twenty or so people that I see most often.

@Marilynda1225 Today seems very slow. Only about five people have visited me, or so it seems. I'm doing a bit of commenting now.

I have noticed pretty much the same thing too, although, it seems to be picking up a little bit, more than it did last month anyway. I am not getting all that many notifications, but I am able to get them done, as well as respond to other discussions. It can be hard to keep the interaction going when others won't interact at all, or very little anyway. I do someteims find new uesers, and respond to their discussions too.

@lokisdad You are right, there are just to many lulls in the interaction. I woner the same thing too, if people are busy at their jobs, or if they came in, took one look at the site and left, nevermore to return. That has happened before. I think they just do't know that this site will never make anyone rich, and when they realize what is involved, they just don't feel it is worth their time anymore.

I worry about the lulls like this some days wondering if its just the people are busy or if its something else. I would just like a little more busy it makes time go by faster for me when i am constantly going.

I share the same opinion as you . I would always go to people then activity , and see the same people interacting , at this time of the day . Though, we don't know if those who are from the other time zones might be active , when us on this time zone will already be sleeping as i see a lot of comments of my posts and comments the next day when i open it in the morning .

@lokisdad Well, you can always comment while they are asleep . They will see the comment and would comment back when they are already awake and visit here.

I just read through discussions and respond and comment when I can. If I find someone that seems interesting, then I tend to check out their discussions or other discussions that they have responded on. I do see many of the same people, but I think that is a good thing not only because it means that they are active but also because it is fun and easy to talk with people when you get to know them better.
