~My Baby Shower~

So I had my baby shower tonight and it was awesome! I got 6 packages of diapers, clothes for him, bottles, pacifiers, wipes, soaps/diaper rash cream/lotion/thermometer, etc... A bunch of really good stuff that were going to need! Also a $25 gift card for babies r us and a $25 gift card to Walmart.
All in all it was a great night. The church also provided food, drinks and cake! =) Seriously they are all incredible people. I'm feeling extremely blessed!

@LovingMyBabies NO, I think that this is an American thing. I never heard about a baby shower in Europe.

It sounds like you are all set and have everything you need, and now you can patiently wait for the baby to arrive. Showers are alwasy nice, as you get things that you might not necessarily have the money for. I am happy for you, and I hope that your remaining days of pregnancy are good ones, and that you have a short labor and an easy delivery.

@LovingMyBabies I am sure you are, but you have been through it before, so you know what to expect. It doesn't make the pain an easier though, that is for sure.

@Scribbledadnauseum It was a coed baby shower at church so I don't think the guys would have played anything. But its okay because I did get many needed things for him.

@ScribbledAdNauseum My sister had a coed shower and the guys played too-it was fun. But I don't know everyone at church that well yet so I doubt anyone would have played.

@LovingMyBabies When we have family baby showers? The guys are nowhere to be found. A friend (this was 8 years ago now) had a baby and we had a co-ed shower but we got the guys to participate. I doubt we could get them to do it again though.
