Trying a new place

Last night we were out of town when it was time to eat, so hubby talked me into trying out a new place.
It was a home owned Mexican restaurant and offered similar dishes to what we get at Tex Mex type restaurants, but they were better. Many of the foods were freshly prepared.
We had enchiladas the were served with something they called avocado salsa over the top.
I think it had avocado, cilantro, jalapeno, and possibly cucumber. It was very good. Have you had anything like that? I have had mango salsa and peach salsa and corn salsa, but this was a first.

There is a place here that has a salsa like that too. I get the seafood enchilada and it is delicious. Haven't eaten there in ages.

We don't eat a lot of Mexican but I love anything with avocado. I sometimes choose a Mexican dish when we're out if I get the chance.

You are more adventurous than I am. I've only had Red and Green Salsa's and a Mole type sauce. I don't know that I'd like the mango salsa but it does intrigue me. Cucumbers used in salsa intrigues me as well.
