We like to go together

Tomorrow we are going to another town. Hubby will donate platelets. They did not have two appointments together when we could go. There is wifi there, so it is likely I will be here while we are there. We will go out for a good lunch afterwards. It is possible they will have a cancellation and I can go. This is one of our charities as well as a hobby.

I like that 'you will be here while you are there'. It makes complete sense but does read a bit funny!

It took so long for hubby yesterday that we missed the buffet we wanted to go to. Mine goes faster but they did not have an extra slot. I did not go in and use wifi, either. Hubby will probably go back to whole blood donations. I am not sure what I will do.

It's a shame you cannot have two appointments together. I hope the appointment is not going to be canceled.

He gave his platelets, no one cancelled so I could donate. We will always do some form of donation.

That is good of him to give those. They are sorely needed all over.

thank you so much. The needles are tiny and do not bother me much. I am more bothered by the test to make sure I am not anemic.

You would think if they want you to donate they could squeeze you in.

There are only so many machines to do the apheresis procedure with and it is long. It takes a couple of hours.
