A Quick Project

On Monday my daughter and I went to my parents house and cleaned up (as best we could) one room, and staged it, so the house can be listed for sale. More about that in the future.
After we had done what we could , we went out for a quick lunch. Added a walk on the Beach (much to cold for bare feet) and a quick search for a couple of geocaches.
On arriving back at my house, my daughter suggest we do a sewing project. My immediate response was, I need to finish at least two UFOs before I can consider starting a new project.
Her reasoning was, it's an organizational project. Okay, I'm game, we'll make a roll for our knitting needles.
A short hour and a half later, amidst much laughter, we both had a place to store and organize our needles.

@Morleyhunt The 'Done' bit is good isn't it? It's not another UFO for you.

She has been a great help through all the madness of the last year. She helps provide some moments of escape.

We started the say sewing....went out for lunch....went for a pedicure......spent the best part of the afternoon sewing.....had my husband pick up a take out supper (no dishes)....sewing until early evening. Maybe I'm a bit of a weather wimp, but I can't imagine walking on the beach in Canada in February. Brrr!

We were wearing our shoes. If the sun had been shining, there was a small chance the shoes and socks would have been removed.
Normally I would be wearing boots in the snow but this year is unusual.

UFOs are UnFinished Objects. I have a pile of projects that have been started, some are near completion, others are barely started. My goal this year is to finish two old ones UFOs to be able to start something new.

That will be a process. There is a lot of de cluttering to do. My daughter and I did one bedroom.....there are three other bedrooms plus the main floor, the basement and the walk up attic. I refuse to have anything to do with the garage.

Not quite anything, but I am game to get out and walk a little, and we both enjoy sewing.

I'm fortunate that she lives nearby. We will often get together to go out on her days off from work.
