The Best Laid Plans and All That Stuff

Yesterday I had such lofty plans. I was going to write a lot and of course connect a lot, get some reading in, and do some beading. Guess what happened...I didn't get it all in. Yesterday I made reference to a quote about making God laugh when you tell him your plans. Well, I much have been psychic at that moment in time. I could hear him clearly laughing all the way in Florida. I got a little writing and connecting when all heck broke loose. My sister-in-law called with a little problem. Actually, I am understating the problem just a wee bit. He septic stopped up and backed into her bathrooms and kitchen. My husband being Mr. Handy ran over to her house to see what he could do to help. My sister-in-law, who could stand the smell, and her three dogs came here to my house. Needless to say, it became quite an active place here. Anyway, as I said, the best laid plans and all that went right out the window. So, guess what I am going to try to do today. Everything I didn't get to yesterday. It's a beautiful cool day out with an abundance so I will be outside with my laptop, hopefully, writing and connecting. I hope to later find a quite spot to do a little reading. Plus, I can forget the jewelry set I still have to make and get out in the mail. Wish me luck.
