Do you check your own older MyLot posts for unanswered comments?

One of my goals on MyLot is to respond to all comments made on my posts. Another is to visit at least one post of those who comment on my posts.
But I'm sure I fall short of both goals. Sometimes I'll go back to a post that's three or four days old and realize that there are seven or eight comments that I still haven't responded to.
I'll respond away until I get tired of that subject, and then I'll discover another post with comments not yet responded to.
I'll keep going until I'm tired of responding, and then visit others' posts. On other days, I'll forget about my posts and just "explore."
Do you sometimes check older posts for unanswered comments? Is your "protocol" similar to mine?

I always try to get back to every single person who responds.
Not part of the rules but it's the way I choose to do things.
I do check older discussions which is easy as I delete them regularly so only have a few to check
I don't do the responding to someone who has responded to me.
I respond purely to what interests me primarily concentrating on my follows list as following them means they're posting things I like.
For people with loads of discussions I bet it'd be way harder to keep up.

@TLilly15 I think it is a good thing to try to do that but it often gets a bit hard.
Especially if you're getting a load of very similar responses and have to keep repeating a comment.
In that case, if you've nothing to add I think it's fine to leave a like just to show that you have read the response.
Never getting back to anyone ever and not even leaving likes is not the way to go in my opinion but it also is not against the rules to do that if you want to...my way isn't the only way or even the right way necessarily

@sishy7 If you want, I can go looking through some of your posts and play a game of cat and mouse with you?
If I find any comments you've missed, I will talk to them first and leave you some kind of note with the raspberry guy in it?
Just a suggestion, of course...

@pgiblett But the one about Christmas gifts are more fun because you already know you aren't getting anything discussed there, but you can harass the thread owner by implying you MIGHT find some gift forgotten there that was addressed to you, right? LOL!
I don't go to old discussions... Where is the fun in starting at the beginning and pretending nothing below the post you are reading/responding to has been written yet? Just because it makes it feel like the entire post is happening right then and you are joining in as everything happens, that is no reason to go find something interesting and posting on it, is it?

I try to check older posts to see if I missed any comments that were left. Some are so short that they don't warrant anything more than a like. Even so, I try to at least like the comment, unless they comment is totally off what the subject was.

I work from my notifications first. If I have time, then I will check out new discussions. I rarely start discussions of my own, so I do tend to forget to go back and check to see whether or not there is a new comment or response. Of course, if I have recently started a new discussion, then I will attend to that before going to comment or respond on something new.

I've done that, then I end up winding my way down all sorts of bunny trails.

I normally don't chedk back cause I don't miss people's comments on my posts. I have my notifications set up so I get all my comments to my posts and so on.

@ShyBear88 Eh, it gives me something to look forward to. If I'm bored, I can always go back and look for comments I missed. They're not going anywhere.

@teamfreak16 I always know they're there. Sometimes I respond to some of them and then move on to something else.

@TheHorse - I'll have to give it a try. Give me something to do.
