I find out I still have several responses from the one I started yesterday that I haven't got to yet. 
But I will get to them shortly...I needed to take a break from it and try to get my mind going in a different direction.
And then I remembered back in the day, when I would have a discussion going, and people carrying on, and I would finally get my commenting done...and the discussion would get deleted by Admin. 
Happened more than once. 
Of course, I am not here raising as much hell as I did back then...and I fully expected some of them to get deleted...but sometimes it seemed TPTB were just sitting there waiting for me to spend all that time, and then pull the plug on me. 
And back then, that meant your earnings went down as well. 
But anyway...here I am...there you are...and here we be,

Earnings are no longer affected by deletions since we have been able to delete our own stuff.

I've got to get out here in a bit and go haul a bunch of brush to the dump, it's supposed to rain later today and all day tomorrow so I want to do it before the ground gets real muddy.

Normally, but I have had a couple 3-4 word responses that don't really say anything...I cringe trying to think of what to say back.

@JolietJake Sadly, some members really don't get it do they? The word "discussion" really should say it all, but I guess that some people are prone to grunts and groans and maybe a 3 or 4 word response is a full discussion for them.

I have noticed some posts poofing the last few days, they show on my those I follow's discussion page, and then poof when I get there, but I see other similar (not copied, just similar ones) that do not, so I dont know, maybe the author pulled it. I decided to do new posts from those i follow first, and then get to my responses, and after I wrote this mornings post, as I was afraid I'd get buried in responses and not make it to that,

Funny you mention that. I had a couple of posts that were doing phenomenally well that had the plug pulled. I never though of myself as being controversial.

I've just accepted it as something that happens from time to time...I've only ever argued one that was deleted, and I got it back, but that was years ago.

I've known the ropes for years, I just spent a lot of time with a DGAF attitude...still have it somewhat, but I have toned it down a bit over the years.
