Ferris wheels are often at local fairs and some can't wait for that time of year so they can get on this amazing wheel. But, a Ferris wheel is not for everyone. Some find these terrifying while others think they are a snooze- Do you like the Ferris wheel?

I am one of the people who are terrified to get on a ferris wheel. I don't like the height of them at all.

You're not alone, many people won't get on those contraptions.

The only way I'll go to the GC is if I'm at the bottom looking up @BelleStarr

The ferris wheel is much less scary than some of the rides that throw you about all over the place. I don't ride them any more. I save my money for fairy floss (sugar candy?).

Yes we do @JudyEv I've even learned about geography while on Mylot, something I failed when in school.

Fairy floss sounds so much better than sugar candy or cotton candy.

@rebelann I never liked and there were several accidents around the world, if you fall from that height you are lucky if you die.

I used to when I was a child, but not any more. I'm not scared, but I just wouldn't fancy going on one now.

I live Ferris Wheels, there is a very large one in Atlanta I have been trying to get hubby to take me to. It is so amazing to sit up there at the top and look down at the beautiful view

A Ferris wheel is about my maximum ride, but I have always enjoyed them. Wait, it has been years; would I still like it? Hmmm...

When I was younger, my Dad thought it would be funny to rock the one we were in way back and forth and scared the holy crap out of me. I thought sure we were going to flip out and this was while were at the very top (they were unloading and loading new people into a car down at the bottom). So nope, I'm not a fan even today @PatZAnthony .

I think it's been about 15 years since I've ridden in one, but I always enjoyed the Ferris wheel. It's one of the few carnival rides I'd want to go on today. Nice to see another familiar face here, Pat!

I used to love all kinds of rides - roller coasters and ferris wheels - I feared none of them and enjoyed the thrill of riding any of them. I don't know if it's age or if it's just that I feel I have more to lose in my adult life - but I don't get as excited about rides anymore. Last time I rode a ferris wheel - at the county fair last year - I had weird thoughts of falling off - I was so relieved when we finally got off!!

I used to like them. As a kid I didn't like the spinning rides, but the Ferris wheel was OK. I haven't been on one in years though.
