The new tractor arrived a week early!

We were not expecting the new lawn tractor to be in until the end of this week or early next week. Therefore, we were quite surprised when the dealer called us Friday morning to announce that it was in.
We were outside so didn't get the message until mid-afternoon. No way were we going to rush up the interstate at that time of day at the beginning of a holiday weekend. So we went up early Saturday morning. Had a pleasant ride on the interstate, which was unusual in and of itself!
Unfortunately, my husband had cut the grass on Thursday and without any rain at all the last week there is no grass to mow. He is chomping at the bit to give it a workout, but that will have to wait.
The old tractor was washed and set out by the road with a for sale sign. We had three people stop by to ask about it. Hopefully it will go soon.
I told him, this is his last new 'toy'.....

@miniam Had about 12 calls total so far. One man just dropped by - he said he saw it on the way home from Church yest. and had to come see it. Another man is to come over tom. and check it out. It's not cheap, so it will take the right buyer.

Calls mean someone is interested so big smile there.This is not a $1 purchase,people need enquire then think it over.Give them time,this is not a banana that will rot if not eaten in a day.

So far all he can do it look at it, no grass - it's been too dry for it to grow LOL! He'll make up for it once the rain hits later this week. Where have you been? You keep disappearing? I finally got the Marie Osmond exercise thingie and I used it twice - I lost interest.

Yes they do, but I will say he takes care of his toys. He keeps records on everything he does like oil changes, etc.

That's why my husband won't buy a JD. Their 7 grand tractor has less than 1/2 the options we got with the cub. We won't buy green/yellow paint no matter what.

At the price of this thing I guess it's not really a toy. I can't wait to try it out - I love cutting grass.
