One of my favorite ways to relax is to bird watch and this goes hand in hand with my other hobby photography. I keep going to places just to see birds.. But I don't have the right lens to shoot birds. I make do with what I have as of now. I am just hoping that someday soon I will have the right lens.
Here is one of my favorite pictures taken in spring time just as the tree are budding into leaves and making the land aflush with color. It is a picture of a Mynah on a ficus religiosa tree.
I am just fond of the composition by itself. It not everyday that we get a naturally and neatly composed picture frame like this. I love this picture and wanted to share it with you.
I hope you like it too.

'tis a beautiful photo, jest filled with brilliant color 'n captured so well. seems ya don't give yerself 'nough credit, hon. i think this mynah turned out wonderfully. i, too, long fer a sharper lens. particularly with the hummin'birds. hard to get the detail without such.

@crazyhorseladycx Thank you so much. Hmm I Wish you will get yours sometime soon.. Some shots need those long lenses. I wish someday soon I will be able to lay my hands on them.

@crazyhorseladycx I have been hoping someday I will have the cash to spend on a lens. Yup $900 is not small cash to throw around on a lens when you have other important things to use your money on. That is what is keeping me from buy it.

Lovely. I wish I had a camera that could take photos of birds. The county that I live in has decided to run water below our property. I also wish you were here to help me figure out what alll is enjoying the water. Stilts for sure and I'm pretty sure tons more than common Mallards. And of course killdeer.

I have been in other countries several times and it seems to me that we don“t have as many different and beautidul birds as other places do.

@marguicha We don;t have bird like your lovely robin and blue jay and such.. I always see the birds there and think we don't have enough color here. LOL the grass is always greener at the other end I guess.

It's a great picture and I love the way you captured the bird sitting on all those pretty colored leaves. I bet it would be nice framed and hung on a wall
