Lucky New Hampshire

New Hampshire was a very lucky state yesterday as a humongous lottery winning was won in a small town in that state.
Plus, a few more people in the same state also won a good deal of money.
Unfortunately, we had 60 millions to be won here in Canada and none of it went into your bank account.
Were you a lucky winner last night of at least a small amount?
Folks in New Hampshire are eager to learn who among them holds the winning ticket to a $487 million Powerball jackpot.

They were so lucky indeed. Did they share the winnings to other people?

The absurd amounts offered in the lotteries seem pointless. However, the public are more to blame than the lottery companies because the mention of such amounts causes a demand for tickets. I have never understood the logic behind this because winning 5 million would-be more than adequate.

Ours here has gotten real big too. Not sure how much cause I was interrupted when they were talking about it on the news. Always dream about winning but never do.

Let's see...after about 50% in taxes, that should still leave plenty to go around @marlina . The first hundred million would go to animal organizations that I have in mind. Next, I'd pay off my land & house (that's only $19,000). Then I'd have a log cabin built with solar panels, a water well put in, have my stock pond redone, have some of the trees cleared, have a big hay barn built for the donkeys. Give my sister, daughter and granddaughter money so they could retire. And then maybe I could buy some actual, real food for my cabinets and refrigerator. Did I buy a ticket? Hell no.

Well, I do not play so I cannot win. I wonder if it was my sister-in-law? She has not called us.
