~What We Are Doing For School Work Today!~

The kids just had breakfast and they are starting on their worksheets for math right now. Next we are going to be doing Health. Their learning about road signs, how to cross a street safely, what time of day it's safe to walk, etc...
After that we are doing Science. We are learning about traits mammals inherit, types of mammals and birds.
Then it's onto Social Studies. We will be learning about America's songs, such as The Star Spangled Banner, My Country Tis Of Thee, and America The Beautiful. We will learn who wrote these songs and why they were written.
Well, their almost done with their worksheets so I better get to teaching! I will be back soon. =)

Enjoy your lessons. Do you also teach music and art type things to the kids? It sounds like you have a well rounded curriculum.

@CinnamonGrl Thanks! Yes we do arts and crafts, as well as music twice a week. =) Also, we do cooking together a couple times a week. Thank you, I do the best I can.

@CinnamonGrl Lol. I am definitely not a chef but I can cook most things that aren't too difficult. Thank you very much. =) We love arts and crafts as well as music, those would never be left out for us.

@LovingMyBabies More than I could have done! I would have to learn to cook before I taught my kids, lol. They have had to wing it in some areas. I think it's great you are doing this for your children. The reason I asked about crafts and music is the public schools have really cut a lot of that, which I htink is a shame.
