Creating New Routines

I went back to work full time last week. I am now creating new routines for myself, because of limited time. I do not have as much time to run out of town to shop. Save it for a big trip or have hubby pick up stuff while he is working. I do not have as much computer time. I am going to try to be at MyLot a while both before and after work. Thanks to a tip from a friend I read last night, I think I may be back in business, writing. I logged out and back in and that seems to have cleared up my error messages. Swagbucks, forget the "goals"They stressed me too much and they have added so much advrtising the site looks nasty. It is hard to use. I do what I can but refuse to stress about it any more. I have other small things I do online, but really, myLot and Swagbucks are my biggest efforts. I am sure everyone has their own routines.

I will get paid for thirty five hours a week. The teacher has two other paras. She says she knows we all work more than that daily and that if we need to show up a tiny bit late or leave early for an appointment she considers it unofficial comp time. We are well appreciated and the wage is very good for the position.

@GardenGerty that still is alot of hours after not working for awhile, still it's the kind of job I've enjoyed before!

I was finally able to cash out on Swagbucks last month, so I'm starting over with points, but with the move and unpacking now, I haven't been back there except to input the code when I see it crop up from time to time. I'll get back there when everything settles down. I don't let it stress me either. Congratulations getting a full time job. That will always result in new routines. I hope it's one you enjoy and are meeting and making new friends at work. Right now, myLot is all I'm doing besides unpacking. I hope you have a great work day.

@just4him The cough lingers but I am not taking anything. It is going to be a long year in many ways.

Good for you! Don't stress. Swagbucks is okay and do what I can. Usually don't qualify for the surveys.

I gave up on Swagbucks a while ago. I have joined a photo site and I have my blogs as well as mylot, so I try to have some kind of a routine.

So how is the photo site working? Is it a paying site, or a publishing site?

@GardenGerty It is a paying site, it is slowish so far I didn't quite earn a dollar for the first week and so far I have uploaded 30 photos. I am satisfied. If I spent more time connecting, and looking at others, I would earn more.

The only thing I use Swagbucks for is searching and I do fine with points that way.

For many years that is all I did, then somehow they got me hooked again. I do use it a lot to search and do okay that way too.

I can understand that you would have to make some changes once you started work again.

It is interesting that it makes me want to eat out even less. I want to stay home once I get home.

I haven't been around here very much lately, but I remember that you got the job you applied for. A job, whether full time or part time, really takes a lot of time out of a day.

Yes. In some ways for me, i may as well work full time as part time once I travel out of town (only ten miles) and once I am up and around for the day. I will be building a small state retirement income in addition to adding to my Social Security. I am not sure when, but I will be eligible for health benefits as well.

Now that you have gone back to working full time, that definitely calls for new routines.Whatever free time you get,you will have to allot according to priorities.

Working full time is bound to challenge the old routine. But we know you can do it! I'm glad you have figured out how to limit the swagbucks stress. It can be terribly time consuming.

Parts of it surely are. I was also stressing cause this site is not loading well for me. I suspect it is from something I downloaded.

If I do swagbucks only casually, it is okay. If I turn it into a full time job for very little money, it is just as well I work.

I seem to change my routines on a regular basis...as far as what I do when online. Tell margaruicha (sorry for spelling in a hurry) about logging in and out as she is having many error issues too.

I sort of have noticed your routine changed. But then again, you have a lot of variables in your life. I know who you mean to talk to and I will go find her.

I have to fit myLot and Swagbucks in between my full time job as well - and myLot is definitely more preferable to me than Swagbucks for my free time...
