"How do I earn in myLot?"

This is a very popular question here. The answer is rather strange when you think about it: you don't earn in myLot.
Other users earn for you.
You do not get paid for anything you do here.
You get paid for the interaction from and interest shown by other users to what you write.
And this is not just from other people responding to your discussions.
You earn for any interaction/interest received/shown to your responses and comments you write as well.
It all boils down to how active you are here.
The highest 'earners' are going to be those that respond/comment to many more discussions than they write.
Create 1,000 discussions and yes, you'll receive responses, and you'll earn.
But respond to 1,000 discussions created by other people, as well. In fact, for every discussion you make, respond to 5 or 10 made by other users. The more people you interact with, the more people will interact with you.
And that is when you will start earning considerably more than from simply starting a flood of discussions each day.
Or, just do it however you want to do it.
I'm not telling you how you have to myLot.
But I am telling you how you can earn more...

I got tired telling people about this and they seem to doubt me every time i tell them it's the interaction that helps them earn a few cents rather than starting their own discussion one after another without any response from other members at all. So exhausting...

@5thHouse It's because most people thought that putting up a discussion alone would help them earn. And they expect to get rich from that.

You are the perfect example, because you start so few discussions yourself

@JolietJake if it became work for me i'd stop doing it. However, I'm not here enough to 'earn' anything these days, not even coffee money any more. I now come here for pleasant diversions

@valmnz I guess it'd be less 'work' if I got a talk-to-type program...I wouldn't have to sit here and work my fingers so much

Going to see other people, rather than expecting them to come to you, definitely has its advantages

People just don't get it. You have written all of this so many times.

I know that. These last days, when I only got error pages, my interaction was low. So was my earning and people did not read the 3 last posts I made. I was sad as they were probably among the best I have written

I have a feeling my numbers are even more slanted, I rarely post more than once a day. But I tend to read and comment on 25+ things, some days prob goes over 100

I ignore people that have 230 discussions started and have responded to 3...

If you do more responding/commenting to others it is actually easier than making your own discussion in my opinion.
