~They Are Studying Now~

As I said yesterday my kids have a test today for Home Schooling. I have been telling them about this test for a week now. When do they decide to study? This morning right before their test! Ugh. Did I raise them to be procrastinator's or is that something your born with? =( I guess a mother can only do so much and do her best. The rest is up to the children as to what they are going to do. Hopefully they will do well on this test. They might regret their decision to wait until the last minute...

@Happy2beme They got a B and a B+. Not bad scores but they would have done better if they studied before this morning!

They could surprise you. Hope they do well on the test. If not, when things begin to come up that they want to do perhaps they won't be able to due to the bad score. Making a celebration out of passing is always nice.

@LovingMyBabies .....And, from a woman who has been a procrastinator you don't want that to be ongoing issue.

@celticeagle I hope they do well too, their taking it now. We shall see. Oh yes, some forms of punishment will be done because they need to learn from it.

That sounds exactly like me when I was a student: always waiting for the last moment to study.

I hope it will be a small relief if I tell you that most children would be the same. :)

@JudyEv Yeah that's true. I just hope it's not something that follows them into adulthood.

@LovingMyBabies Most eventually learn. I can remember cramming the night before too.

Most kids wait until the last minute. There are some exceptions, but not many.

Good luck to them. Hopefully they still pass. Some students do better with last minute studying. I was one of those.

They must have a fair bit of confidence over their knowledge and comprehension level of it, either that or they didn't believe you that it will be a hard test! We'll know soon enough after the scores are released-but I hope that they all do well.

At least they are studying, lol. I used to be really bad about this myself. We do weekly tests on Friday and it never fails I always have at least 2 that stay up late on Thursday to try and study for them. Maybe one day they will learn them always seem to do good but I keep telling them if they study throughout the week they could do a lot better.

@ilocosboy I don't understand why kids wait until the last minute to do things! It drives me crazy.

If they have been paying attention, they may only need a slight refresher. It is certainly a better way to study than staying up too late, which some will do. I hope you have a good day.

So even with home schooling the children have their tests too . It must be so hard to be the teacher of home schooled children .
