Mysterious happenings Chez Horse

I awoke the other day to find most of my balcony plants huddled against the wind and rain on my outside table. They must have heard me talking about the possibility of strong winds. Then I thought I heard giggling (more like cackling) in my day pack, and noticed that the 24 papers in there (I have to grade them all) had turned to 28. Horny little blighters. So I walked into my kitchen to make some coffee, and the edge of my kitchen counter reached out and poked me in the hip, giving me a slight bruise. Do mysterious things happen at your house?

I love your descriptions. I have a little Oriental god sitting up in the Bast grove, right behind my back yard. I face him toward the house- I like the encouragement of a meditating god's face. I looked up there through the window the other day and noticed that he had decided to face South.

I think he's a closet sunbather. The sun is heading toward the South as Winter approaches.

I am sorry for your bruise, I hope is nothing serious. Weird things happen in my house too... a mysterious step that appeared at the end of the staircase. I was sure I counted 8 and then left turn... the next time I turn on the light.

I don't have steps inside my house. But the ones on the way to my house occasionally try to buck me off.

With 16 cats in the house, I never know what is going to happen @TheHorse and most of the time, it ain't good.

As long as they all poop outside, I'm OK with it. I like cats.

I think that's what I do. I live in a small space. Sometimes it feels like things are jumping out and grabbing me. But I suspect I bump into things while thinking of something else.

Oh, yes. Especially since my shoulder's dislocation. Seems that the corners come out and bite me.

Ouch...hope that bruise goes away...hugs. The most mysterious thing that happens is when my princess kisses me (she does not know how she just presses her mouth against the cheek). Now, I kinda feel blessed all day long...kinda.

At least I have defeated the sock gremlins buy only buying one kind of sock. Sometimes I have odd numbers of socks, and sometimes I have even numbers, but I always have enough pairs to survive.

Oh, I forgot about that. I've had papers, sometimes with important phone numbers on them, turn themselves into paper airplanes and fly away.

At least they made good decisions. We DID have some strong gusts during the storms that passed through.
