How long can you last posting 20 discussions per day...

...before you start repeating yourself? Don't you have any desire to be here long-term? Or are you just here to make as much money as you can as quickly as you can? myLot isn't about 'Let's see how many discussions I can post in 5 minutes" (although if that's what flips your switch, go for it). Sure...maybe I didn't expect to be here 10 years, but if I did what some users do, I've have in excess of 73 thousand discussions. Get a grip....slow down. You'll live longer, they say...

After the first two or three I usually skip all the following discussions by the same user. With only a few exception.

I hate when I go to look and there are 5-6 by the same person shoving everyone else down the list

@JolietJake I hate this too and most of the time those prolific writers never care to reply to the comments.

@JolietJake I did two today after several days of none. I answer a lot of posts, though.

If there is too many discussions in a row posted by one person I just scroll on by. I don't even bother reading them. It is actually one of my pet peeves on here. I don't get why they feel the need to write post and post after post.

They could at least space them out a bit...but I guess they'll either learn or run out of stuff.

@JolietJake Some people are addicted to writing on social media. And, is that how you earn money in here?

I agree with you. I am lucky if I can come up with one discussion per day lol. I read more then I write.

@JolietJake If I am going through recent discussions and see a lot by the same mylotter I just choose one post of theirs to read so I can view more peoples posts during the day.

@shaggin I agree one after the other is to much. I have slowed down on posting and doing more interacting.

I write quite a bit, but it is more responses/comments than starting discussions. Right now I think I am at 5 responses to other people for every discussion I start, and that is still more than I should start.

Wow...73,000...but what can people think of writing about...I write one post once in a while, and can barely reply everybody...simply because the replies are all the same, rewritten in different words...smh.

@JolietJake ... If they are here to earn monies only...there are million other more fetching alternatives...right? Their logic of posting so many beats me...

I am guilty of repeating somewhat (Scar, Rocky the Raccoon, posts about myLot itself) but I don't do random posts about anything and everything. I know we all do myLot differently, but there are some habits that will push users away, and posting a gajillion a day will do that quickly.

It's like someone who talks too much . . . eventually people will tune them out! You can tell when posts were made quickly and spit out there - what is the point except that you just know what their motive was. Most likely you won't get any real interaction with those posts either - people will take note of that and move on and possibly away.

I feel like I am overdoing it when I make 5 in one day...plus I would be so busy making all the discussions I wouldn't find time to be looking for discussions to respond back to.

Honestly, I don't think that I could write that many discussions in a day. In a week or two? Sure, I could try and write that many, but certainly not in a day. I don't have that much to say.

I don't understand how some have the time to write so many one after another. Lol. The most I do is 3 or 4 per day. Even that many I don't write every day, just some days.

@CoralLevang WOW! You woke up? So did I. What did you eat for breakfast? I had some oatmeal and a bit of corn whiske... er, I washed to oatmeal down. And my third article covers your second article. Good old oatmeal... I can't imagine writing a serious post like this, let alone a twenty... Hope life is treating you well.

I think some people type them all up on Note or something and then just BAM BAM BAM copy/paste them all one right after the other. They'll soon either burn themselves out, or people will begin sliding right past them.

In my early early days on myLot I had some theory or another about earnings, and set out to prove it. I wrote eighteen discussions in one day. The next day I commented on all responses. That will never happen again. Not in this lifetime. Not for me.

My highest earning day here, I spent almost 20 hours in the site...and almost all of it was responding to other people's posts. And you best believe I will never do that again. Took me a few days to get over it.
