If you have a Facebook Store, what are the advantages? Many here sell online through various sites. However, instead of having an Etsy shop or some other store some may not have heard of, perhaps we should have a Facebook Store? Not really sure that we will have one, but do wonder-if you do have a Facebook Store, what are the advantages? Disadvantages? Thanks for any details.

The information is available somewhere! Funny how it is hard to find the answers and this makes us wonder if it is a really bad idea. Perhaps there are hidden fees we should learn about before taking the leap.

I have never checked this Facebook option, I have no idea if it is free and how it works.

It is not free if you actually have a store, but we can offer items for sale on our personal Facebook pages from what some are saying.

@PatZAnthony I have searched and this is what I understand, you must have a real store and it's not free.

No Facebook sore, but to sell items I use facebook yard sale groups and have done very well.

@PatZAnthony I just signed up with every yard sale group in my county (which is tiny) and several surrounding ones. You have to get approved for some groups, while others as soon as you sign up you can post. Make sure to have photos to post with the description and make the description as clear as a bell - no matter if you put things in some will always say 'how much' while the price is looking them right in the eye!

I'm curious too, I don't sell on line because I don't want my art on line - its too easy to copy but if you do it, let me know and the rest of us know how it works...no going to read the comments to see if anyone is doing it....

Yes, if it seems to be a good idea, I will certainly write about it. Like most, I have had so much 'stolen' or copied-art and articles. It is a major hassle trying to stop those things from happening.

I don't have. My cousin started an online store and shares items on FB. She can reach more customers than the physical store.

I do not know anything about a face book store. I sell on ebay and that is good enough for me.

No, I sell my vintage loudspeakers locally via Craigslist only. I used to sell on eBay, but got tired of shipping.

I didn't know that Facebook Store was an option. I have sold through groups on facebook, and on craigslist but never through a facebook store.

I have sold on Craigslist and my daughter on E-bay. Right now, she posts her online store on her Facebook and has sold some items. You might post on your Facebook your link to your website. There are other places you might consider Twitter and the selling groups in your area on Facebook.
