A Clean Up Task

No, I am not going to Facebook to unfriend people. No, I am not gonna block people here that are different from me politically.
I AM going to go through all these e mails that I get automatically, that I signed up for in the past, and I am going to unsubscribe.
I did that a year or so ago. I need to do it about every three months.
It really cleaned up my inbox and I am looking forward to it again. I have begun unsubscribing and it feels really good.

I really need to do the same thing, they are adding up too fast. I just hate taking the time to do it. It's quite a task!
Glad you got yours done, I am sure it will be much nicer now. =)

It does seem time consuming, but then it is costly if I miss an important e mail due to being overloaded.

It makes a lot of sense to do so.

It takes a lot of time to deal with them daily, so that is why I unsubscribe.

I find most people seem not follow much anymore anyway, they rather just read random posts from people that way they do not get a crazy amount of notificatios or emails like you said. You can adjust your emails to where people only mention you in a comment. I find that works best for me so I do not get to much emails from Mylot.

My e mails from myLot are not a problem. I have always had them adjusted down. It is more the e mails from various other interests that eventually have to go. It might be retail related or opportunity related, or offers of insurance. . . it gets to where I have hundreds of these things a day and I maybe only wanted to read one post from there originally

The first one or two might be interesting but after a while they repeat themselves.

My husband's e mail is a mess. I hear it can mess up the server.

most of the time I let it go, and then one day I get a burst of energy and take care of it.

That is a great idea! I really need to do that too because I get way too much of that stuff everyday.

It may be that I wanted the stuff originally, but it goes beyond being useful after awhile.
