I got a new phone!!!

I am so excited! 
I don't see why these phones haven't become more popular though. 
It's small enough to fit in your pocket.
It flips open to use so you don't 'butt dial' people by mistake.
It's in a tough, durable case without one of those big screens that are so easy to drop and break.
PERFECT for a portable phone.
You know...one of those things made to CALL PEOPLE?

My old phone had small button, but it was very easy to accidentally call someone

If only we all had that luxury! I can't afford broadband, so my only option if I want to go online is to use my phone

@LadyDuck I was just explaining to someone the other day that even if I could afford both, I wouldn't have options in terms of providers because my city, unlike the rest of the country, has only one phone and broadband provider, it's very unfair for consumers

I miss that kind of phone. It is cute. I have one like that when I was still a student. It has a cute ringtone too Enjoy your phone and maybe it be durable enough to be used for many years.

I have the most basic phone which serves my purpose but our government wants us to do banking online which I do using my computer. Most banks have Apps and my cell phone has no such facility.

@JolietJake One can still do it but that is not how it is done these days. We have visitors who will keep their phone in their hand not even in their bag.

My boss to make sure I still had the same number, he changed the company we use our business phones through.

My son gave me his old phone, which is really handy if i have to text him or one of my other children. I have been with out a phone for a few years now, as I didnt have a use for one. Im happy that I can get to use some of the apps on it when out internet in our house go down. I only use it when I really need to.

I was always leaving my phone laying in the next room or something like that...I'd been thinking about getting one of these again for quite some time since I only use it for calls.
