There are times when I go somewhere, and hope to not be seen! Why? I'm in a rush. I'm in scrubby clothes. My hairs a mess! & etc. Do you ever have that feeling too?
Especially if you happen to think or see an acquaintance? The reason being, is if you both linked eyes - you're obligated to say hi and have a small chit chat.
It happened to me today, when I saw a glance of a girl I thought I knew from high school. I thought it was her and I was like dang it... But, it turns out, it was someone else and not her.. phew!

I only avoid people when I'm not in a good mood, and that's because I don't want them to think that they're the ones who are making me uncomfortable. Otherwise I wouldn't mind.

I am the worst when it comes to that! Since I work in government, there are so many people who know me or recognize me from work, and they always want to come up and say hi and chat. And it never fails that when I am in the biggest hurry is when I run into the most people I know!

On weekends, I still work but sans the make up and fancy clothes. Weekend for me means just being me even if i still have to face people. But yeah, i do wish i won't be seen by someone i knew in that situation. But when that happens, i just brush it off. Well it's still me after all.

Close shave! I make it a policy to always be decently dress when I go out. But I don't feel obligated to stop and chat...and if I do, I usually say 'gotta run!'...just saying 'hi'.

@infatuatedbby If you are comfortable with yourself then who care?..but if you are scruffy, why not take an umbrella? Actually, fun aside, I suffer from 'tunnel vision'. I see only what I want to see. Has something to do with drifting towards moving objects!
