I know there are many dog lovers who write on myLot. I am one too (though my daughter's Chihuahua puppy tries my patience). On Thanksgiving night, while at my daughter's house, we streamed this wonderful documentary. It is a not a tear jerker about abandoned and abused pets, really though they are the ones given a "second chance."
Instead, this film offers hope and a chance at adoption for dogs, many of whom lived in squalor with hoarders with from 20 to over 100 other badly cared for, barely fed dogs.
The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals has this great rehabilitation center in New Jersey, where they bring terrified, starving, mistreated dogs in to a dedicated professional staff. Intensive care, training and love are given these lucky dogs.
This is an uplifting and interesting film for all dog lovers.

It was an excellent story of how these dogs can be helped.

@JamesHxstatic Nothing from the neighbors. They have a house in town. I can't tell when they are home. Somebody comes out and feeds the horse and I see cats over there all the time. Not a word to us about anything.

Oh that is great! I am sure she can still have a good life. Any more neighbor questions?

Yes they are. I now wonder if that is the only center they have that does all that.

It was really a lot of fun to watch those dedicated trainers work with the dogs who came in terrified and defensive.

I will have to check it out. I do enjoy my Netflix. I enjoyed the National Dog Show on Thanksgiving.

Thanks for sharing. Even though we're cat people I love all animals and have nothing against dogs. Loved the trailer. This is great for dogs. There was not question about it when we were thinking of another cat the only way was to adopt.
