I too will be spending many of my winter days here too and it is so good to be back!

I see that many things are just the same as before even though there is a new generation appearing. They still wanto a lot for nothing it seems and the real bonuses of being here seem not to be obvious to them. I once had enough for a return ticket to US but then had to use for something else which cropped up and was much more important. I was so glad that it was there though and all for having fun. Amazing!

You and I both know how laughable such targets are. You no doubt remember how bad it was at the time that members gained revenue from those who they introduced. This caused many to make ludicrous claims, which inevitably resulted in new arrivals becoming disillusioned very quickly.

I make $10 a day on MyLot on a bad day. Kidding!

But can one put a $ value on chatting with your friends? I don't think so. Have fun and remember that you can't take it with you, so why worry.

@1hopefulman In all of the years cince I joined I have earned enough for a return ticket to US ... but I had to use it for something else and never got there yet. I am so pleased that it was sitting in my Paypal though and all for just having fun with no effort at all!

I have made here thousands... of friends.

I have learned here thousands... of things about other peple, other lands, other customs.

I have opened my eyes to other lands I only knew by name.

No. I am in the goal of $10 a month. When I have enough time to be here for a long time. Because I also have friends offline and to be near them is also part of my goals.

$10 a day would mean not having any offline life at all 0.5 dollars is reasonable and I sometimes, but not all the time make that. However not if I am not enjoying the conversations or have other stuff to do.

All they think if is $$$" Some of the newbies do not know that if they interact with new people and make friends that would be worth of many dollars in comparison to $10. I've been away and since I returned I'm glad to see those I follow who are not here for the cash. Sometimes get a welcome back response. That's priceless: to be remembered and to enjoy the company of others. I noticed some new members worrying again about the payout and would comment and respond just to earn. They probably urgently need the $$$. Although, I hope they also take time to cherish the conversations and discussions.

LOL! Not on my best day here, MysD! I come to myLot primarily because I want to see and talk with my friends..... Some of them disappear at odd times and I miss them... Some of them have left this site, but it is the last place I had to talk to them... I miss them... Sometimes.... I come here simply to read their old discussions... I miss them... It can be nice, earning money just for talking with my friends, but even without any money, I would still come here for my friends...
