While life is hectic running here and there, shopping, wrapping, cooking, cleaning, planning, spending money, volunteering, etc....when you get tired of all that just pop into myLot!
If you just want to read and comment, that's fine. If you have some energy left, then post a discussion. Here you are free to do as much or as little as you want in the freedom of your own home. Heck, you can visit and chat with friends while dressed in your PJ's.
We won't see your dirty dishes in the sink, your half decorated tree or the piles of gifts you need to wrap. We don't mind that your cards never got written or you haven't planned Christmas dinner yet. We don't even care if you are wearing a Christmas sweater from 10 years ago!
All we care about is each other and how being together, here at myLot, in a quiet and safe zone is so nice.....welcome one and all......

You are right, this is a great place to escape to. It's only a problem if the dishes are still dirty, the tree only half-decorated, the gifts not wrapped, the cards unwritten and the dinner nor planned yet BECAUSE of the amount of time spent here!

@AbbyGreenhill if my husband was still alive, there's no way this place would ever have kept me from doing that! It was my job (and sometimes my joy) to drive that man crazy! lol

I made 20 dozen cookies yesterday and more later today. For now I sit and read and I'm so glad to be here. Oh and yes I have dirty dishes in the sink lol.

I just did my breakfast dishes a few mins ago 20 dozen, holy cow!!!! I made zero and don't plan to make any - that's why I bought Cheryl's!!!

@AbbyGreenhill I don't usually make that many but this year I am giving all my family cookies. One package for each family and the little ones each get their own. I got these really cute packages for them so bake is what is on the agenda for the next couple of days.

I am winding down and relaxing now too but now also going to get into watching the last half of a Nicholas Cage Film I have never seen. I do come here to relax though and see what is going on.

That's really nice. We cannot be stalk here like in Facebook. Most people just stalk around what's up with other people's lives. Some people are fighting in facebook. Mylot avoids fights as much as possible. I find it a safe zone.

Lovely post and it's all so true. Mostly it is a very safe place and if someone get a bit picked on, we all gather round and do our best to protect whoever's being threatened. There aren't too many places where that happens. :)
