Christmas Sunshine

This year I made a few of my own Christmas decorations. The wood in this one is burned pine bark, treated with a glue that shines and brings out the colour of the natural wood. The candle holder is an acorn cup and I picked up the other odd pieces which I think must be some kind of pine seed.
The photo was taken early in the morning when the sun was shining on the table. Winter sunshine, still a novelty to an English woman abroad in sunny Greece.

There was not a whole crowd unfortunately, but I enjoyed it and I made a couple for Christmas presents for my friends.

@41CombedaleRoad - It is sad when life has to end with no crowd in spite of being born to a crowd. Do happy things and smile and you are a contented person.

The wood just looked charred until I treated it with this special glue I have. After that it got a new look.

We have had two mornings of snow and the clouds were thick and low. No sunshine until today.
