So we were one block away from our new house and we stopped to get something to eat. Out of nowhere we hear lots of air and a jolt. Our back tire went flat!
Thank God we have a friend on their way to bring us a tire! They live an hour away so we are stuck til they get here...
Life is funny at times but we plenty to be grateful for! Hope your night is going well. =)

That really is inconvenient! I used to change my own tires when I was younger even though I had AAA but now I don't. I had to give up AAA because money was so tight. I recently enrolled for emergency car service through my auto insurance and it only costs me $5 a month. If I have a flat they will change it, if the spare is flat they will fix it or provide another, they'll bring gas and tow the car if it's disabled, all for free. You might want to think about that, it's very convenient and cheap.

We have always kept that on our car insurance policy. They told us that even if they had to shovel us out of snow it would be covered.

I feel bad. You always seem to have everything stacked against you. It is so good that you have so much faith. I hope the new home is everything that you want it to be. It sure hasn't been easy to get there.

Ok I gather you don't have a donut in the trunk and a can of fix a flat? These are necessities as far as I am concerned before I travel even 100 feet!!

I always say things happen for a reason. When you stopped to eat, that was God protecting you. If you had been continuing on your drive, something worse could have happened when the tire blew.

I've had 3 flat tires in the past year. One of them was while we were on vacation in Boston.. a sharp rock popped the tire, and we had to spend a couple hours at a shop getting it fixed as it was a 6 hour drive home!

It can be very irritating when things like that happen. They are huge inconveniences. I used to get really worked up and irritated by those things (who am I kidding? I still get upset). But I have tried to focus more on the good things and the blessings rather than those inconveniences. Sometimes you have to laugh to keep from crying! We definitely have more to be thankful for than we realize most times.
But at least you got food!!
