Tenerife here I come

Yes, today is the day that I am setting off for a short week in Tenerife. My flight is 7-30 PM, so I shall probably set out for the airport in about 5 hours time. It will certainly make a nice change to be on holiday for once. I expect to be arriving at my accommodation something like 1 AM or shortly after. It may not be the best time to arrive, but since there is transport arranged from the airport it should not be much of a problem. The flight time also makes travel to Manchester airport quite simple. The timing with my new recycling bin was excellent because it was delivered this morning, so now I can dispose of empty cans and milk bottles before leaving the house.

It seems you've been nowhere but on holiday but good for you. Make the most of it. And I did think a week was 7 days - not sure about a 'short week' or am I getting overly picky? Whatever - enjoy your time away. Maybe you'll find some unusually shaped postcards. :)

So do you plan to golf a bit? I don't think I would like it there, it looks over developed so wouldn't have much for my camera to photograph.

From what I saw online it has golf courses all around which means there isn't much wildlife to photograph @Asylum I'm not a pro photographer but I love trying to take shots of wildlife.

Have a safe trip and enjoy your holiday. It's a perfect timing to go in a warmer place. I feel miserable today, I got a cough and sore throat, all my bones ache. I try not to go out and stay safely inside.

@Asylum Look at this photo taken on the shores of the Lake Geneva. It's not the snow, but the water of the lake moved by the wind and frozen by the cold.
