What article of clothing would you choose not to wear ever again?

I have a feeling that there is going to be one overwhelming answer to that question by the ladies here at myLot and in the 'real world'. I would also bet the men would vote for it!
So, out of curiosity let's take a poll, a myLot poll....and see if I'm correct!
What article of clothing would you choose not to ear ever again?

That was my first thought about the ladies as well. I'd hope high heels would come in second. For men like me, it's a bit harder, since we're not encouraged by the fashion industry to wear torture devices. Maybe I'd say a tie. Or wingtip shoes.

Tie - those have no place around here unless they are those string ties!

I wouldn't wear one to bed either, although they do make what they call 'sleep bras'...not sure way unless there is some kind of medical issue.

I would assume you would be correct with the ladies. Bras would be the answer. Lucky I am a man. LOL. If I had to eliminate one article of clothing I think underwear would be it. But I would feel strange without them. Maybe I will change that to socks. Yeah, that's a better answer for me.

I don't mind wearing bras. I don't like high heeled shoes and wouldn't mind never wearing another pair again. I prefer tennis shoes and wish I could wear them with dresses in public without looking odd.

@AbbyGreenhill I do wear flats with dresses, but sometimes I would like to have the added cushion of a tennis shoe.

@LeaPea2417 Some of the slip on sneakers are very dressy looking.

Last time I wore a dress was when we got married.....in 1998. You can wear flats with dresses. I would not even attempt to put on high heels, yet alone walk in them.

I'm probably in the minority here but bras don't bother me. I would never ever want to have to wear pantyhose ever again and the last time I wore them was to my sons wedding. I'm not even sure if they make them anymore

I think they make them...Been retired 15 years and prior to that my job was such that it was just my boss and I and we could wear pretty much what we wanted...in summer we both wore shorts and flip flop - so it's been 25 years since the word 'panty-hose' was in my vocabulary.

@AbbyGreenhill Do you feel uncomfortable with or without one? I feel I cannot breath well when I wear a bra.

@LadyDuck I make sure to buy ones that are comfy, no underwires...so, I am more comfortable wearing one.

uniform clothing that require me to tuck in my shirt, I like have my shirt out.
Bra, well yes, I need one, I don't feel right without it, and heels, I could wear them years ago, but not now

When I'm in public, I don't mind a bra, jewelry, and shoes, but the minute I get home, I have to come out of all of them!

@AbbyGreenhill It's so strange that all day at work, they never bothered me. But the minute I walked in the door at home, I was so aware of all of it and drove me crazy. You're right, I stripped from the back door to my bedroom!

The bra question is not Clearcut to me. I have times when I really don't mind wearing a bra....skin tight jeans.....that's never gonna happen. Sometimes I think I'd like to never need to wear a winter coat again.
See, I told you...the bra is not the clear winner here.

@Morleyhunt We don't get your weather, but for the south we get cold weather, but not every winter. When we moved into this house almost 4 years ago I remember that first winter - in December we didn't need coats at all.

The halter things are uncomfortable to me. I had a bathing suit like that and it felt like it was always pulling my head down.

I am so pleased that when I was in my teens tights were invented as I hated suspender belts to keep my stockings up
I would rather wear a bra than be without one as everything bounces about and gets in the way

I like my bras.. the only time I don't wear one is to bed.
I won't wear anything strapless, or sleeveless for that matter. My arms aren't quite as toned as they used to be.

And that is one thing I actually ordered online. The Shopping Channel delivers through Canada Post

Definitely a bra..I hate them but being as I have quite big ones going without one when out somewhere isn't an option but I never wear one when I am home. They are hot and uncomfortable.
