Isn't it strange how our so-called President can increase book sales?

@amadeo Yes, it seems I wasn't the only person to see the similarity between Newspeak and "alternative facts" (to name one point).

@amadeo I usually don“t mix reality with fiction. It seems that this book of fiction has been used as a metaphore of what is happening in the world now.

I heard about this on a quiz on dailybreak. I have never heard of this book before. Since it is becoming so popular I am curious about it. Maybe I will see if our library has or can get a copy for me to borrow.

My granddaughter just read this book for school but I haven't had a chance to ask what she thought of it. That book has been floating around our family for years so maybe I'll reread it one day
