Loving my New Swiffer mop

Right before my mother died, I ditched my mop and broom I've used to clean the kitchen and bathroom floors. By the suggestion from my brother, I purchased a Swiffer Wet Jet starter kit and loved how it worked to keep my tiled floors clean with a sparkly shine.
After almost three years, it bit the dust since last November, when one of the jet sprays were clogged, while the other spray did work for the time being. After I cleaned it out, no dice. Then last month, the other jet spray were clogged and stopped working.
So I tossed it this weekend in the nearest dumpster and purchased a Swiffer Wet and Dry Mop. It's so much better and easier to use without batteries or purchasing refill lotion. The only thing I need is to purchase the wet and/or dry mopping cloths every now and then. When I cleaned the kitchen floor yesterday afternoon, I loved it.
All of the dirt and grime from the floor covered the whole sheet. I think I love this better than the Wet Jet for sure, except I have spare wet jet cloths and lotion, in case I buy a new Swiffer Wet Jet at some later time.
Mylotters, do you use Swiffer to clean your floors? If so, which one is your favorite? I would love to try the Duster somewhere down the road.

Nice steal! I paid 11.99 at Target when it was on sale. I haven't been to a Dollar Tree store in ages!

@KristenH I got it but it quit working on me which sucked because I liked it. We will be putting in hardwood floors soon in our place might have to look into the wet/dry one like you have and see if it is safe for them and get one.

Uh-oh. That's terrible. Did you ask them why you never got one? I'm glad you love the duster.

@Tina30219 Bummer! I hope so. It's ten dollars cheaper than the Wet Jet.

I do use a swifter for my floor, but since my kitchen floor is over sixty years old it doesn't clean up very well no matter what I use. It will take me using three different mops before company comes over. I use the swifter first, and I have a Lieberman's wringer mop type thing, and then I might run a Mr. Clean sponge over it last. If I used that one first, I'd have to throw it away after each use. Those are similar to the sponges we use to clean small projects around the house.
If I ever can get a new floor I'm not sure what I will use to clean it. I do own other swifter mops the type you buy solution for and I own a different Lieberman that has solution also. I like that one the best for I can wash the mop head rather than having to replace it constantly, but I use that when we get cleaning jobs.

@KristenH It's a very old floor. I think most people replace their floors in sixteen years or so depending on how it looks. Ours came with the house. My husband used to wear a lift in his shoe and therefore never took his shoes off in the house, and now he has a prosthetic so won't ever again. Because of that and the age of the floor it takes a lot to clean it.
The best thing was when my daughter got on her hands and knees and scrubbed it with a mr. clean white sponge. But I can't get on my knees and the mop with that end would get too dirty right away if I started with that. My floor almost needs to be cleaned daily, but no time for that either. I only clean it that much when expecting someone to come by.

No. For our wood floors, we use an electric broom. Cheaper and we think does a better job.

I have a no name brand version of it. It cost like $20 at walmart. We put some of our favorite smelling floor cleaners in it and then manually spray and clean up and rewash the velcro pad. They are great light weight, easy to store and they are cheap all while being durable.
