Hey everyone!
It has been a much better day here than yesterday was. Yesterday Julian was extremely fussy and it was a rough day all around. I was exhausted and feeling down. The kids were fighting all day long and it was a hot mess!
Today on the other hand is much better. =) The older kids have been outside playing-they are having a good time and getting along! 
The babies have been happy and right now their both napping.
My husband is working and will be all day until late-nothing new there. He was stiffed on a job last week and it has hurt us BIG time so I understand he has to make up for that. Usually he charges half up front but he trusted the guy and got burned-lesson learned.
I hope your all having a wonderful weekend so far!

Too bad about the rough day and the deadbeat who did not pay. It is good that things are smoother now. We are waiting for my daughter to drive down from Portland and stay the night. She is bringing the granddog Chihuahua of course. It will be good to see them both.

Sorry to hear yesterday was not a good day for you. Kids are like that though. Little ones can be fussy and older ones like each other one day and not so much the next lol Glad to hear that today is a much better day for all of you. That it terrible about your husband getting stiffed for a job he did. Sad that you can't trust some people. The picture is adorable. What a cutie.

@Happy2beme Thank you. It was a stressful day. Yeah they have their good days and bad ones. Thank you, I am feeling much better myself so that helps too. =)
My husband is kicking himself as it set us back a lot. Now he's trying to make up for it and killing himself.

Glad it is working out with the kids. Josiah really does look lively for a newborn..In a couple of years no doubt you will be remembering fondly when they used to nap.

Getting stiffed is such a bummer. I would report the person. This sort of thing makes it difficult for honest people.
Like I have told my daughter more than once, " You can't make any ugly babies can you?"

Glad things are going better, parenthood is definitely not easy. It's difficult when you work for yourself because you not guaranteed of an income and people tend to take advantage of you. We ask a 60% deposit so it at least covers our materials, so if we get stiffed it is not to much of a loss. I am forever telling my husband that we can't take a chance in not asking for a deposit, but he also tends to be to trustful of others. We have been lucky so far but we will eventually get a client that will do us in.

@traceh Usually my husband asks for half up front, not sure why he believed this guy but yes working for yourself is SO difficult! People think it's the "dream" but I would much rather my husband work for someone else at this point. We never know what he will make from one week to the next-I HATE it!

@LovingMyBabies So true, you can't budget and if you do manage to save it tends to go towards those months when business is quiet. I have been looking for work in my area just for an extra income but the salaries are so bad, that between that and the cost of daycare, it's cheaper for me to work from home and look after my little one.

My day is going fine at the moment. Josiah is looking quite adorable in the photo. Sorry that happened to your husband but glad he learned a valuable lesson.

Wow I can see Josiah is getting bigger already. How lucky for you that both babies napped at the same time and the older kids were getting along. Sorry to hear your husband got stiffed on that job. My son is a plumber with his own business and learned that lesson too. Now he always takes at least half up front.

@Marilynda1225 Yes he is! He is eating great now so I'm grateful for that. =) Yeah my husband usually does half up front, the guy said he would pay at the end of the week-then never did. My husband is too trusting.

@JudyEv Yeah, it set us back a lot but karma will get him so we are just trying to move forward from it.
