Corn on the cob

Breakfast of Champions!
Or so my squirrels seem to think.
Just a couple out there right now...the fun part comes when several show up at once and start arguing over who gets to eat off of the cobs...(see video below)
But so far, all is quiet on the western front...

We feed a lot of various critters but not squirrels - we don't have any is one reason.

@Mike197602 TN - they are near us but none on our property at all...I assume they live in the woods in the back of our land, but they don't come into the cleared area.

Squirrels are pretty much everywhere.

Yep. On a busy day, they'll have all the corn stripped off an hour after I put it on the tree.

It can be entertaining to see animals bicker over things like that. Seeing this reminds me of the commercials where the squirrels would work together to make the cars crash into the trees and knock loose all the nuts for them. It was cute and funny I wonder what ever happen to that one.

@JolietJake Love this photo. We used to try to put a horse-feeder up where the sheep couldn't get into it but the sheep was as big as the Shetland and they'd feed together.

We scatter loose corn and birdseed on the ground as well...and then there's room at another feeder that isn't supposed to be for the squirrels

I like eye of the tiger too.
if you were in some areas of the US you'd shoot the squirrels and eat them for your dinner.
I've seen squirrel recipes posted by loads of US people
We eat a lot of rabbits here too so I suppose it's the same thing really.

somebody in my neighborhood is feeding the brats peanuts..i'm always finding them in the yard.they keep that up,at some point i might have free ones growing..
