Enough is enough! I have been on the Interned too long this morning and now it is time for my walking. This body is screaming for action! So, I am going to give in as soon as I post this short discussion. I will probably walk with the CD of Rocky Balboa as it is the one that stimulates me the most these days for walking. Did you give your body some action today?

@amadeo, I try to do it as much as I can, but there are days that it is not possible due to health reasons.

Listening to the CD of Rocky always gets my moving. It's a rainy day today and I have a tendency to sit more than on sunny days.

Good Lord, mine needs rest so I will give in. BUT I do know what you are saying, sometimes sitting just makes us hurt more.

I went to nature park for a short walk today. The actual walk was about 2 hours, and when factored in the bus journey, it came to a full morning!

@marlina Not really. I used to go for long hikes of 4 to 6 hours a day. Now I just am too lazy to make myself walk so much.

I hear the Rocky theme in my head now ! Getting ready for the morning rush here (getting the kids up, getting them to school, etc) but I will take my local college walk after - and then run some errands!

I didn't give my body much action today, I wasn't feeling 100%, so I had to keep kind of quiet-tomorrow will be a better day I hope!

@marlina I wish that I could agree......tomorrow will be an odd day for me. I have an appointment at 8am at a hospital about 20-25 minutes away from here. And I have to do a 12 hour fast and arrive for about 7:30. At that hour I should be relaxing with my morning coffee, but I'll have to have that after the appointment. Our healthcare is something else, you wait forever for diagnostic testing, but as soon as they have some bad news......you get an appointment in 48 hours. Ugh

So sorry that you are having a "miserable" cold. It is difficult to do anything when feeling like that.

Enjoy your walk. I am going to sit it out, my body is not cooperating. Maybe in a few days I can take a little walk.

@HazySue, A few weeks ago, my iron level went too low again and I had to sit it out too. Was not happy at all with this.

Were you able to walk outside when you posted this Marie? I'd imagine if you got any snow recently it's now out of the question. I look forward to being able to walk outside on the street in front. We're away from traffic. I had a walk date planned a week or so ago, but my friend was going to ride her bike over and then it was a blustery day so I told her we should wait.

No, I walk in the basement which is huge. It is harder for me to walk outside depending on the weather.
