Yes, I am still alive and more importantly, still writing. That is what my life has become now and I love every minute of it. Now that the book research is over and 'Down at the Baths' is about to be launched next week, I've returned to my previous writing love of memoir and have begun a new writing journey in that area. I'm also revisiting a children's historical novel started several years ago and left to stagnate. The plot point where I came unstuck has sorted itself and so the way is clear for moving forward again. Other opportunities connected to my writing have opened up as well, keeping my mind occupied and amused. Once I considered my writing part-time, an amusement, but now it occupies my life. Meanwhile, for the next few weeks I'll be focused on the book launch and continuing with book promotion. Life is certainly fun.

@valmnz Poor Smooch, he is now an old cat, but I am glad to know he is still well. Willy is a young cat and he loves playing, but he is a bit more quiet than last year.

Hi Lany, at the moment it's only available through me and the local bookshop. Being a local history book, I didn't envisage a wider audience but it seems I was wrong. My blog has more details.
