Do you know of any aphrodisiac food?

You see, I have a task to write about an aphrodisiac food. Precisely an aphrodisiac main meal recipe for a magazine. I have read a lot of this food like oysters and avocado as I have done my research. I have to cook for this food article and write my own recipe. A recipe which I have not published before. Well, I have not written this kind of food, so it will be my first time. Now, I am thinking what to cook for this special article. Have you eaten any aphrodisiac food? The photo is the local mussels we have brought in the market. I love them cooked with Moringa leaves. Have a great day/evening to all!

What an idea. I have made yesterday chocolate balls out of chocolate cupcakes which were a bit bitter because of the real 100% selfmade chocolate that I have made from my own cocoa tree. The chocolate balls made them right. Thanks @Happy2BeMe.

Ops! I just noticed it that I used the German word Austern instead of oysters. Thanks for the comment @silvermist. I have to edit it.

@thelme55 yes my fried, and it can or cannot attract the person for you, because you will smell 'oniony'. hahaha! but then, i think if it is cooked, the aphrodisiac properties will still be there.

I am not sure what foods are used as an aphrodisiac, why not see what vitamins are in "those" foods and look up something high in that vitamin and go from there, The science behind an aphrodisiac is actually the amount of one vitamin, right?

Oysters are considered aphrodisiac food, I never heard that mussels (even green mussels are one), but I surely know that celery is.

I have not heard about that mussels as aphrodisiac either. I was looking for oysters when I took that photo. There was no oysters at that time @LadyDuck. I have to find celery here.

There seem to be quite a few. Here is a link that might give you some ideas
Looking for a little boost in the bedroom? Life can get to you sometimes, and we often become so bogged down in everyday stresses that the last thing on our mind is sex. Still, physical intimacy is important and a healthy part of a committed relationship.

I've eaten a few aphrodisiac foods I guess but only because they are foods I like. I love oysters but don't have them very often.

Most of the ones I know about have already been mentioned. From what I've read oysters apparently are supposed to work.
