Scar wants to go out...

People try to tell me how 'unnatural' it is to put a cat on a chain/lead.
But Scar...Scar sez they are nuts.
Boy waits for his lead before he goes to the door.
Don't believe me?
Just watch...

@JolietJake That's the thing with cats. They really do seem to know how beautiful and prized they are to us! Adds to their attitudes!

Unfortunately it doesn't stop him from killing the occasional squirrel or bird...but he's a cat...it's what cats do.

That's fine. Scar seems to know that better than others.

Scar knows it's the only way he's getting out there.

But who is really controlling the leash?

That is such bullcrap. All my cats are trained to walk or be tied up on a long cord. Safer for those cats who yearn for the outdoors.

I thought you did that so he didn't go after the white squirrels.

@JolietJake ......Oh, really. So if they get within leashdom they could lose their lives?

No, the law says I have to keep him under control to protect the squirrels, but it doesn't stop him from killing them.

I think the lead is a smart thing-it keeps him safer. =)

I have a feeling that if Scar wasn't on a chain, he'd be all over the neighborhood causing a ruckus @JolietJake .

Hi Scar. It's Mildred the Cat. I'm so jealous. I've never been outside. Of course, I won't let my mom put a collar on me, let alone a leash, so we do have a problem here. That sure looks like fun though.

Never really had a fight about it from the word 'go' and I was a bit worried because he was such a spaz...but he was like 'Yeah, okay, sure...'

@JolietJake It is great that you never need to wonder where he is. That can be stressful.

That is awesome and it keeps him safe out there. People are always so quick to judge others.

You have trained him consistently. It protects him. I wonder if Princess is too old to learn this.
