# 68 Hoping everyone is having a great start of the new month! And even if it is not so good, just remember – that too shall pass, as they say… What’s going on in May? Ah, it’s Mother’s Day in many places… I’m going to use this post to mark a little updates on what my sons are up to… For those who might find that to be boring, repetitive, or something that you could care less about, please consider yourself warned and you are free to leave this discussion. Sorry if I have wasted your time thus far. * * * * * For those who are still here, thank you and a little bit of background for those who might not know or have forgotten, I have four sons who are very close in ages and now in their late teens/early 20s. My first born is now in grad school pursuing a master’s degree. Following his bachelor’s degree in Animation he accepted an offer for a place in Master of Animation and Visualization. I don’t understand much of his coursework but he seems to enjoy it which is the most important thing to me. My second son has also graduated from an undergraduate course last year and he is now doing an apprenticeship position with the City Council. He seems to enjoy his working environment even if it pays just a very minimal wage. He has a couple more months to go with the apprenticeship and hoping that he will get hired permanently at the end of it. My third son is still struggling to get through his undergraduate courses. He has always been the one who seems to have a hard time deciding what he wants to do – be it in sport activities, non-school or work activities, as well as what he wants to major in college. His parents never force him to do anything, he’s free to decide on his own but we do give him advice, supports, and directions. My baby is on his third year in college. He has always been a very serious student. I don’t remember ever worrying about him academically. He studies, works hard on all his school works, and the results show up on his grades and achievements. In college he has surprised when I was about to pay his tuition and the college admin told me there was actually a credit on his account. Turned out, he was automatically awarded partial scholarship due to his grades. He never said anything, so I had no idea. Okay, enough of my bragging. I better stop before any of you feels sick from reading it. Happy May!

Well done the parents - and the boys of course. No wonder you're so proud of them all. And I loved reading about their achievements.

Thank you! I'm aware different members have different opinions about discussion topics and there is nothing wrong with that... Just thought I'd safe them from wasting their time reading something they may not care about, hence the early warning...

@JudyEv I don't mind... In fact I think that makes the site even more interesting... I just don't want to be the cause of annoyance if I can help it...

@sishy7 I forgot the for the parents who have done a wonderful job in raising them . As parents I guess we will forever worry about our kids? A friend once said we made it this far the way we did, so we should trust they have their own plans and they will get there too .

Thank you for to each of them! I worry about them all the time, I worry that I won't be able to be there for them in their time of need, and I worry not knowing exactly what their future will be. But hey, I can only do the best I can and I trust the rest would be taken cared of somehow...

Hey, it's okay... Besides, you probably didn't think I'd come up with more than one post within a 24-hour period, did you? At my age, I think I'd just settle for daughter-in-laws some day... Thanks for the early wish...

@infatuatedbby Probably not soon... The second one has been going out with the same girl since high school... But they are both still very young and seem to be enjoying just being young right now...

What more could a mom ask for but that her kids are doing well and advancing. Isn't it Autumn where you are? It must be getting chilly there.

Wow, you have four sons! You are so blessed. Once they are all stable in life, you will just be supported by them. That is if they don't marry early in life.

Oh, I thought you knew - I talked about them a lot on Bubblews... Yeah, they're all grown up now, although it doesn't happen a lot anymore, but I like it when I walk around with all four of them... It feels like I'm surrounded by bodyguards...

@sishy7 I had three girls within 3 years. They are all different and very close. You just have to love them and treat them as individuals. But then you know that.
