Morning energy

I have much more energy in the morning than in the evening. I came here last night and could not think of a thing to say. Honestly. I have a few minutes before work. I shall use that time to take the last of my houseplants outside to begin to enjoy Spring. The sun came out yesterday before noon. It was not too hot, nor too cold for our students. I got extra walking in with my kiddo, as he had some energy to burn. Both teachers and students are counting down. We are ready for summer break. In some places there is 'year around school' where students attend six weeks then have two weeks off, perpetually. I am not sure how that works around holidays, though, when everyone would want off. My lunch is packed, I have located car keys. There are three more plants that want to go outside. The sun is shining it's lovely rays right up my street. I shall see you all later. I have no place to go tonight.

I think there may be a few inbetweeners, some who like to get up at 8 or 9 a.m. and stay up til around eleven p.m. I cannot usually sleep that late.

@JudyEv I would like to sleep in a little later, but seldom do. Maybe when school is out. Or I will continue getting up at 5 but take a nap in the middle of the day.

@GardenGerty That's probably true and some need to change because of work or family commitments. We rarely sleep in late.

Have a great day. Perhaps you are drained in the evening after working all day.

@DianneN I am sure you know from experience that working with kids requires lots of mental energy.

I think that is how it is supposed to go. More energy in the morning and then losing it by evening.

The adults are often more difficult to deal with than the kids themselves. Take all the free training they have available. Leave the job at home and do not offer to do too much.

I could never do year round school. Or have any of my kids do it. There should always be school vacations and summer break.

I am not sure how they make it work with all the holidays, but I think I would enjoy a two week break every six weeks.

@Courtlynn It is all in what you get used to. We are used to our summer breaks, but they even are different from state to state.

Not sure when I have energy LOL I'm babysitting again which means tomorrow up by 7:15 and online right away. By 10 am I will feel so accomplished in getting things done, but will be wishing I could go back to bed. Saturday is the Inman yard sales so that will be an extra early morning to get up and drive over here.

I have mornings like that, and I look forward to them. It makes the whole day feel good when we start with a smile.

I think where I have lived we always finished at the end of May, resumed in early September. Now it is no later than the third week of May, and start again before mid August.

I have read that many States in the US provide "year-round education". It seems that it's a good method.

It is not very well established in the central part. It makes sense, though as it is better use of buildings year around and then they do not have to build as many new ones.

I can write day or night as long as no one talks to me. It got so warm here in April I took my houseplants out already. I am about to write up several articles for the next few days.

I have been slow with the plants this year, and I think there are some things I could work at from home, if I can get them underway.
