I have a confession to make...

...and I hope it doesn't make you think any less of me.
But sometimes, things are not my fault.
It's just the way of the Universe, and there's nothing I can do about it.
Sometimes I don't listen to vinyl.
There. I said it.
I know, many of you must be reeling in shock at the announcement, but I swear it isn't my fault.
Some stuff just is not available on vinyl.
But I still need a physical representation of it...so I am forced to purchase a CD.
Outhouse is one band I saw open for KISS once, and I loved their set.
But unfortunately, their release 'Welcome' was never issued on vinyl.
So late in the night, when the blinds are closed and no one can see, I play their CD.
There...my secret is out...

It's more important to be a music fan than a vinyl fan.

I prefer it live.
Then I want it on vinyl.
Hell, I can't even read the liner notes on a CD without a magnifying glass.

Just think, there is a generation who would not even know what vinyl is!

I love vinyl but it's pretty hard to listen to while traveling in the car, so CD's are the way to go when I'm traveling. I also have one of those turntable things that records your album onto your computer then you can put that vinyl on a cd for the car. It's pretty cool.

I have my rig set to where I can record any sound source to a file and create a CD. Never did have one of those auto turntables...the needle would probably skip too much the way I drive.

I don't miss it, I have 1083 albums and 345 singles...I just wish some stuff was available on vinyl. There's several out that you can only get on CD or by a digital download.

What you get up to in the wee small hours behind closed doors and drawn curtains is a matter between you and the night (and Scar).
This one is appropriate, if you have a few minutes to listen to the lyrics:

Elbow singing One Day Like This. This is the last song of the night, the crowd singing and waving really gives you the feel that you were there, just like I ...

I think we can all be forgiven the occasional guilty pleasure.
