Spending Time With My Son

A couple weeks ago my oldest son decided to get back with God and turn his life around. You know this made me the happiest person around, and was an answer to a prayer that has taken many years to see answered.
For the past three days I have been doing a Bible study with my son. It has been a privilege to spend time with him in God's Word, teaching him some Bible basics, as we start at the beginning with Genesis.
After spending time in God's Word, we have also watched a good Christian movie. We watched War Room, Abel's Field, and Courageous, which was the movie we watched today.
He has also been to church with me two weeks in a row. He has also tuned the radio station in his truck to KLOVE.
It just makes my heart swell to see how God is working in his life and how it has turned around completely from what it was. This is the young man I had the most trouble with and now I'm praising God for what He is doing with his life.
That is why I haven't been here as much as I usually am. He just left, and now I'm free to spend time with my virtual family.

thats the best news i have heard all day
unfortunately fate spanked me at four am
as I reached for my water glass , fell out of
bed,hurt my elbow but worse broke my right
big toe as my right foot buckled under me
that was so paionfl had to go to ER and be
looked at it was broken told to wear loose s hoe'
on that foot , m y right elbow was bandaged too
I am trying to stay off my foot today as much as
i can

I'm sorry you fell out of bed and broke your toe. I hope it heals quickly. I'm glad your elbow wasn't broken or hurt more than a bandage and hope it heals quickly as well.

Oh my, what a wonderful blessing! It reminds us to never give up praying for people we love (and for ones we don't!)

@just4him It's always so thrilling to see someone, especially one dear to us, come to know the Savior. I love the examples in the Bible where God changed his mind (Jonah for one.) It reminds me how important it is to keep praying.

Let us thank and praise the Lord, yes God is awesome God.He hears us; He knows what is best for your son. I am so happy for you having your son get back to God.There are happiness and contentment in life with God as the center f everything. Amen.

Oh that's interesting, we all should think that way, we should always praise and thank God for everything, without him we were nothing and like just floating in the air weak, and have pointless and life with no direction, we should not just pray to Him just because we're up to something or we have something to ask for, but we have to pray to him, give him thanks and feel sorry and repentant for what we've done wrong. Im happy for both of yu and tour son, you're doing well and you're A good model to our fellows and a good disciple of God

What a blessing for you and your family! I am so glad to hear you are both able to connect this way. If you have the chance you should watch the Left Behind series with Kirk Cameron. It is one of my favorites!
