I Can't Think Straight and my Heart is Pounding!!!

It's all due to a surprise visit from our younger son. He stopped by to hand deliver his wedding invitations to us. The others were mailed at the post office today!
He and his fiancée will be married on October 6th, a time of year they both love. They wanted a small wedding, with under 100 people. However, with all the close relatives from his fiancée's large family, our relatives and many close friends, not to mention their huge group of dear friends, the wedding will be rather large, but elegant and tasteful.
Next week my husband will accompany me to the same shop I bought my mother of the groom dress for our other son's fabulous wedding. Their fall gowns are in!!!

Thank you! They have a lace theme. My heart is still pounding with excitement!!!!
The dress shop is sure to have something elegant and classy for me. That's the look I like, and my husband has impeccable taste, so his approval is necessary. They will order and fit the dress, too.

@FayeHazel Thank you! He certainly knows better than I what looks good on me and what doesn't. He's a spiffy dresser, too, which I love. lol

@DianneN That is so cool that husband enjoys giving what sounds like a very qualified opinion on clothing. I am sure you will find something outstanding. You are very beautiful so I do hope there are pictures :-)

@TiarasOceanView No way will they wait that long, and I don't blame them. Young love and all that.
No one will see the dress until it's debut, or I'd have to run out and buy another one.

@DianneN I can't imagine ... and what a blessing that you are involved and enjoy the planning part of it - I'm sure that is a big help. As being perpetually single (it's ok, partially by choice) - it does indeed seem to me a very proper thing to celebrate - when 2 people find each other. :-)

What a beautiful surprise and how thoughtful of your son! That only shows how proud he is, to bring his fiancee to his parents home. Actions speak a lot louder than words, don't they? You are blessed!:)
