Okay, I don't know why my medication couldn't last a few more days, but it didn't. I have my infusion for my colitis on Thursday. I get it once every 8 weeks. However, it didn't last as long as it should have and I had a major flareup yesterday. What that means is that I won't be going to the pool until the new dosage takes affect and everything calms down again.
I am not a happy camper and can't wait for the new dosage so I can get back to the pool.
I shouldn't be surprised it didn't last as I've had so much trouble with medication for this, having changed meds several times already to find what works. This is the only one that works for me. The others have no effect on it, or cause serious side affects.
So now I wait it out and hope it takes affect right away so I can get back to the pool. My membership is also due. Hard to believe it's been a year already that I've been enjoying the pool and the friends I've made there.
Well that's my news for today. I'm off now to try and get some book work done, or watch some television, or both. I hope your day has been good. Thanks for reading.

Yes it is. I think it might be me. My body just doesn't like medication, so it's no surprise that this dose didn't last the full 8 weeks. I think I'm going to talk to the doctor to find out if they can make the dosage a bit stronger so it will last. I don't know if they can, but it's worth a shot.

@just4him Oh, no! I had a bout with Celiac disease this past week, which does pretty much the same thing. It's impossible for me to make any plans, unless I can bring clean clothes, and a toilet along!:( My friend Marilyn wanted to go to the antique show, down at Tawas City Park over the weekend. I was too embarrassed to call her back:(

I totally understand. So I've been bummed and watching one stupid and one decent romance movie this afternoon. Now I'm back here for a little while, but I also need to get some work done on a book. I don't like to write when I'm bummed. The story doesn't go well when I am.

@kobesbuddy Yes and I end up doing things that I need to fix later. I once killed the main character in the story, but I was able to bring him back to life in a completely feasible way. It also added to the book in a positive way.

@just4him When I'm feeling horrible, I don't even try to write. Usually, the words sway towards negative, rather than positive thoughts to uplift others.
