We meet a myLot member in Bordeaux, France

Yesterday Vince and I had the pleasure of meeting with myLotter @topffer. This is the first time I’ve been able to meet a member in person.
We had a most enjoyable day in Bordeaux. @toppfer caught a fast train from his home town and we caught a bus from our campsite. We had no trouble finding each other at the railway station. @toppfer had kindly purchased tickets which gave us access to buses, trams and ferries for the day and we were off.
Although most French museums are closed on a Tuesday, the customs museum was open and we found that very interesting. They also have an original Monet painting there. Vince was able to get some excellent photos - at least 200 he tells me - so he will have fun sorting through them.
It was really helpful having our very own guide. I’ll write more about all the different attractions but for the moment here is a photo of the latest in trousers for the men of Bordeaux. Perhaps I should point out that this isn't @topffer!

How nice to meet a friend you have only hitherto known from online. I am jealous! I have only met one person from myLot ( @p1kef1sh ) and that was a very pleasant day (and I had a professional and very instructive tour of the English cathedral of which he is the chief guide.)
The very personable young man looks slightly amused that you want to take a photo of his breeks. Such apparel is usually sported by festival goers here. I'm rather glad that it is not @topffer. My impression is that he is a rather more mature gentleman who wouldn't be seen in such gaudy attire (though I might quite understand if he harboured a momentary and secret envy of the said leg-wear!)

It was so nice to put a face to a username. 
I forgot that we met @p1kef1sh too and also had a wonderful tour of Salisbury Cathedral but that was two years ago and would have been in Bubblews time I think. @topffer looked like an archeologist (I hope he will not mind me saying that). The poor young man in the patchwork trews didn't seem to mind. I guess he was a bit bemused. Vince was telling him how he wanted him to stand. My Vince is not backward in being forward.

I learned that a museum curator was describing me as a character "high in colors", everybody can check how true this description is accurate

Looks like a jester, wearing his motley. I am glad he is a stranger, he certainly looks to be a stranger. I have met two or three lotters over the years, including @marsha32 @AmbiePam and @webieishere.

I've met two online friends in my life, on in London and one in Jerusalem. But that was before I came to myLot.
Like the other members who've commented here, I was surprised that Monsieur Topffer should look like this. Yet, I would like him to look like this. Why not @vandana7?

Well to begin with...all those archeological excavations he does of ancient tombs...all those folks would start turning in their graves...
Honestly did not like that pant..it is so weird...thank god top did not wear it...I would have teased him rotten.
